I am a Co-Founder of Peacekeeping and Conflict Resolution Trust (PACT). I have received my training at the Indian Institute of Arbitration & Mediation (IIAM, Cochin) in 2015 and completed a program in Cross-Border Mediation at Prague Summer Mediation Academy (PSMA) (Charles University in Prague) in 2016. The former gave me an understanding and the ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts, as well as provide a solid foundation in ADR processes and to serve as an ADR practitioner and neutral. It focused on the structure and goals of the mediation process and the skills and techniques mediators use to aid parties in overcoming barriers to dispute resolution. The training also gave emphasis on the code and ethical standards of mediation. The latter taught me how to apply mediation to cross border disputes, covering EU mediation law, cultural aspects to cross-border mediation, practice and procedure, and skills for mediating complex international disputes in a variety of settings, both live and online. I have done both International and domestic mediations, where I have appeared either as a co-mediator or as a mediation advocate. The disputes varied from construction matters to family conflicts.
